The LISA CORSETRY SITE promotes the concept that there is little more erotically artistic than women clad in what is popularly known as "Victorian" corsetry. It does everything it can to further the use and acceptance of these rear-laced garments. LISA's Resource List has become known as one of the most internationally comprehensive documents of its type. If you need it, and it deals with corsetry or related topics, it is here. We depend upon our fellow aficionados and enthusiasts to update or correct erroneous information. (One can appreciate the magnitude of verifying such). Please feel free to contact LISA with input. The list is updated almost every day, so please do not call for further information on any given entry, as ALL information is put on the list in a timely manner.
FURTHERMORE, LISA views itself as a repository for contemporary and historical information regarding corsets and corsetry. In that light, please feel free to forward any information and material that would further that concept. We feel obliged to credit the source such contributions, unless otherwise directed.
NOTE THAT A PORTION OF WHAT IS HERE AT THIS SITE IS COPYRIGHTED. HOWEVER, SHOULD YOU LIKE TO USE ANY OF THE NON-COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL FOR YOUR SITE, WE ASK ONLY THAT YOU LINK TO LISA AS A COURTESY. IF YOU DO, LET US KNOW, AND LISA. WILL CONSIDER A MUTUAL LINK. IT IS REQUESTED THAT IMAGES BE REDUCED IN SIZE, WITH A LINK TO THE FULL SIZED IMAGE LOCATED AT THIS SITE. Thank you for your cooperation.
Tenth anniversary interview (2006)
LISA started out as a small group over 25 years ago and, because only males took part, it faltered. I converted it into a vehicle for my workshops, which my assistant and I conducted in the Northeast. However, since the inception of this website, I have had several inquiries (male and female) regarding the possible resurrection of the original group on Long Island, New York and elsewhere, as in 2012 I relocated to Virginia. If anyone is interested, please contact me. I shall evaluate the interest and, if appropriate and warranted, then put forth a re-chartering proposal. Proposals are welcome. Be aware that I am looking for someone to administer the club, as my time is precious. Of course, I shall lend my good name and expertiseto the cause. I cannot offer more than support, the LISA name and "sponsorship," in the sense that a LISAClub would have full of the LISA site (including a special page) for the publicity, announcements, and communication. In addition, at this point, I have about 100 individuals and couples who have expressed interest in participating in such an endeavor.
Thomas B. Lierse, founder, LISA
On a Girdle
by Edmund Waller (1606-1687)
That which her slender waist confined
Shall now my joyful temples bind:
No monarch but would give his crown
His arms might do what this has done.
It was my Heaven's extremest sphere,
The pale which held that lovely deer:
My joy, my grief, my hope, my love
Did all within this circle move.
A narrow compass! and yet there
Dwelt all that's good, and all that's fair:
Give me but what this ribband bound,
Take all the rest the Sun goes round.
God Bless Constitutional America, Our Home Sweet Home!
